2014 UAA Swimming & Diving Championships

*** MEET UPDATE ***
Due to inclement weather in the Atlanta area, the UAA Championships have been changed to a two-day meet on Friday and Saturday.  Swimming preliminaries will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday and Saturday, with diving preliminaries following at 11:45 AM.  Finals for both swimming and diving will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Furthermore, Case Western Reserve, the University of Chicago and the University of Rochester will be competing at a satellite meet at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH on Saturday and Sunday, instead of competing in Atlanta.

MEET SCORING FORMAT

At the conclusion of both meets at Emory and Case, a two step process will be conducted:
  • First, the results of preliminary events will be combined to determine the top 8/16/24 in each event.
  • Second, the results of the final events will be combined and used to determine a final placement within each grouping of eight.
Note:  An individual would not be able to advance higher than his/her preliminary grouping as a result of their performance in the finals.
If two or more individuals have identical times that tie them for the eighth position in any of the 8/16/24 groups, all of those individuals will be included in that group for purposes of "top 8" finish, etc.  Team points for that position and any subsequent position displaced by the tie will be divided equally among the tied participants.  Displaced positions within the second group of 8 or the third group of 8 will not be replaced.

Campus Parking:
