63 Eagles Land on UAA Fall All-Academic Team

Emory University placed 63 student-athletes on the University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team which was released Tuesday afternoon by the league office. 556 student-athletes in total from the eight association schools were recognized on the All-Academic team.

FULL UAA RELEASE

To be named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete at least one full year of college study and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The 3.30 GPA is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the nomination of Academic All-America candidates in all sports.

The 63 Emory Eagles recognized were spread out over five sports that compete traditionally in the fall with men’s and women’s cross country leading the way with 15 selections each.
