Becky Breuer Named September's Elevated Eagle Award Recipient

Emory University junior Becky Breuer, a member of the volleyball team, was the recipient of the inaugural Elevated Eagle award as announced at Monday’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meeting.

The Elevated Eagle is a monthly award to honor a student-athlete or team who best exemplifies integrity in their respective sport. Receipt of the award shall be based on the ability to act on the Emory Integrity Project’s three principles:  honor, humility, and helpfulness.

Breuer, who serves as Co-President of the SAAC, spent the summer volunteering at Make-a-Wish Foundation and is described as an incredible servant leader in every way, a humble all-star, and an individual with the highest moral standards.

If you would like to nominate a deserving student-athlete or team for October’s Elevated Eagle award, please submit your nomination to Audrey Hester, Assistant AD For Student-Athlete Success & Compliance, at audrey.hester@emory.edu.
