Emory Swimming and Diving Programs Named November's Elevated Eagle Award Recipient

The Emory University Swimming and Diving programs were the November recipient of the Elevated Eagle award as announced earlier this week.

The Elevated Eagle is a monthly award to honor a student-athlete or team who best exemplifies integrity in their respective sport. Receipt of the award shall be based on the ability to act on the Emory Integrity Project’s three principles:  honor, humility, and helpfulness.

Always organized, and certainly loud, the swimming and diving teams cheered their signature “EAGLES ON THE WARPATH” chant as both teams took the court prior to the start of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Regional Final match between Emory and Berry at the WoodPEC on November 11th.  While their attendance and cheering was great, the most impressive part was the positive manner in which they cheered.  The championship atmosphere – supported by students and staff – made a huge impact on court!
