Emory Names Audrey Hester Asst. AD For Student-Athlete Success & Compliance

Emory University Athletics Director Dr. Michael Vienna has announced the appointment of Audrey Hester as Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success and Compliance.  She will begin her duties on August 14.

Audrey will manage the Eagle Edge program to support Emory student-athletes academically, athletically and personally.  She will also oversee rules compliance for student-athletes and staff.  

Hester was as a Postgraduate Intern at the NCAA Office (2015-16) with some of her responsibilities including legislation interpretations, analyzing and processing legislative relief waivers and providing rules and compliance assistance to Division III member institutions and conferences.

Prior to her stint at the NCAA, she was the Operations and Facilities Coordinator at Randolph-Macon College.  While at RMC, she assisted in office operations and compliance, oversaw game-day management for 17 sports and was the Tournament Director for preliminary and sectional rounds of the 2015 NCAA D-III Men’s Basketball Championships. 

Hester attended Randolph-Macon College, graduating with honors in 2014 in sociology and anthropology. While at RMC, she was a four-year member of the lacrosse team, serving as captain and landing all-conference acclaim, and played field hockey for two years.   She obtained her master’s degree in higher education with a concentration in athletics administration from the University of Virginia in May of 2017.
