Emory Places 57 Student-Athletes on UAA Fall All-Academic Team

Emory University placed 57 student-athletes on the University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team earlier this week. 583 student-athletes in total from the eight association schools were recognized by the UAA.

To be named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete at least one full year of college study and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The 3.30 GPA is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the nomination of Academic All-America candidates in all sports.

The 57 Emory Eagles recognized were spread out over five sports that compete in the fall with women’s cross country leading the way with 15 student-athletes.
