Michael Huey, MD
Title: Team Physician

Dr. Huey is the Executive Director of Emory University Student Health and Counseling Services and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.

Huey was Director of Student Health Services and Associate Team Physician at California State University, Bakersfield from 1991-1994. From 1994-2002, he was Director of Student Health Care Center and Associate Clinical Professor of Community Health and Family Practice at the University of Florida. While at Florida, he was also one of the Team Physicians for the Florida Gator Athletics Program.

Huey is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Huey graduated summa cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences. Huey earned his Medical Degree from UCLA School of Medicine, and completed his Family Practice Residency at Ventura County Medical Center (California).
