Junior (2017):

All-University Athletic Association Second Team…Was one of two Eagles to play in at least 40 games in 2017, tying for the team lead with 39 starts…Batted a career-high .317 (44-for-139) while leading the team with 14 multi-hit games, 33 runs scored and 12 stolen bases…Added eight doubles, one triple and 17 RBI…Drove in a career-high five runs in Emory’s 19-2 win at Oglethorpe University on April 11^th, finishing the game 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two doubles and a hit-by-pitch…Scored a career-high four runs in Emory’s 13-6 win against New York University on April 21^st, going 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI, one double and a stolen base…Went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in the Eagles’ NCAA tournament game versus Roanoke College on May 19^th.

Sophomore (2016):

Was one of four Eagles to play in all 46 games during the 2016 season, making 45 starts at shortstop…Tied for third on the team with 45 base hits in 162 at-bats (.278 average) with eight doubles, three home runs, 22 RBI and 11 stolen bases…Finished the season with 11 multi-hit games, ranking fifth on the squad with three three-hit efforts…Tied for second on the team with eight multi-RBI games including two three-RBI contests…Blasted his first collegiate home run in Emory’s win over Ferrum College on February 20^th…Raced around the bases for the Eagles’ only inside-the-park home run against North Carolina Wesleyan on April 9^th…Collected two hits and two RBI in two games at the College World Series and belted his third round tripper of the season versus UW-La Crosse on May 28^th.

Freshman (2015):

Chambers made an immediate impact for the Eagles during his freshman campaign.  He made 29 starts at shortstop and appeared in 34 total games, ending the year with a .255 batting average and 16 runs batted in.  Chambers added four doubles and a triple during the season, while walking seven times and stealing a pair of bases.  Including in his overall average was a .291 mark (25-for-86) against right-handed pitching.  He picked up the first hit of his collegiate career against NYU on March 8^th, and had his first multiple hit game against Rochester on March 12^th.  The right-handed hitter recorded a season-long seven game hitting streak from April 24^th through May 16^th, which included five NCAA Tournament games.  Chambers was two-for-three with a double during the Eagles’ final game of the season against Trinity University (Tex.) during the NCAA Championships.

Honors:

Prior to Emory:

Was a four year member of the baseball team at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School... Helped his team to section championships in 2011 and 2013, a state runner-up finish in 2012, and the Marion County Championship in 2014... Hit .330 in 2013 and .350 in 2014... Coached by Jeff Scott... Also played football during his freshman and sophomore years.

Personal:

Born March 10th... Earned High Honors in high school from 2011-14.
