Senior (2017):

Played in 34 games, making 33 starts as a senior…Hit for a .291 clip (34-for-117) with five doubles, 14 runs scored and 19 RBI…Made five appearances on the mound including four starts…Was 0-1 with 12 strikeouts in 21 innings of work…Ranked tied for fourth on the team with 11 multi-hit games…Became the first Eagle to record five hits in a single game since Brett Lake during the 2014 season, going 5-for-5 with three RBI in a win over Piedmont on March 12^th…Added a career-high five punch outs on the mound, giving up three runs (2 ER) on five hits over six innings of work…Made his first career start on the pitching mound on February 16^th, tossing six innings of one-run ball against Berry College.

Junior (2016):

Appeared in 45 games as a junior, making 43 starts…Batted .275 (42-for-153) with four doubles and 23 RBI…Ranked second on the team with 12 multi-hit games including one three-hit performance against Oglethorpe on April 19^th, going 3-for-5…Had the third longest hitting streak on the team, collecting at least one hit in nine straight games from April 3^rd through the 22^nd, raising his average from .222 to .280 while also driving in seven games (10 total)…Had a hit in all four NCAA South Regional contests going 5-for-15 (.333) with four RBI…Went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against top-ranked Cortland in the College World Series on May 27^th.

Sophomore (2015):

Maldari had a tremendous sophomore campaign, ranking first on the team in games played (46), average (.364), slugging percentage (.540), multi-hit games (21), runs (44), hits (64), doubles (21) and runs batted in (21). Maldari led the UAA and ranked seventh nationally in doubles. He earned postseason accolades from ACBA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com, being named to both organization’s All-South Region Second Teams. The sophomore was named to the NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team after hitting at a .474 clip. He also earned All-UAA First Team honors after leading the Eagles to a share of the UAA title. Maldari was named the UAA Hitter of the Week twice during the season, once on March 30^th and again on May 19^th.

Freshman (2014):

Maldari played in 45 games at third base for Emory during his freshman season, making 41 starts.  He earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com and NCAA All-Tournament teams after leading all players with 11 runs batted in during the World Series.  He hit .458 (11-for-24) during the six games of the World Series, including a team-best four doubles, while scoring three runs.  Overall for the 2014 season, Maldari hit .362 with 24 runs scored, 10 doubles, one home run, 33 RBIs and five stolen bases on six attempts.  He finished the year with a .450 slugging percentage and a .393 on base percentage.  Maldari hit .389 (44-for-113) against right-handed pitching and .398 (37-for-93) with runners on base, while recording 17 multiple hit games and eight multiple RBI contests.  The third baseman homered in his second collegiate at bat during the Eagles’ season-opening game at Occidental College on February 7^th.  He had a four-hit game against Shenandoah University during the NCAA Regionals, and drove in a season-high four runs against Southern Maine during the World Series.  Maldari was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week on March 31^st.

Prior to Emory:

Was a five-year member of the Poly Prep Country Day School baseball team, serving as the team's captain during his senior campaign... Helped lead his team to NYSAIS State Championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and Ivy League Championships in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013... Won his high school's Harlow Parker Award for his athletic and academic achievements... Coached by Matt Roventini... Also played football and was a member of the track and field team in high school.
