The Emory University Baseball non-conference matchup against Birmingham-Southern scheduled for Tuesday afternoon has been cancelled due to lightning in the area. It will not be rescheduled.
Despite partly cloudy skies over Chappell Park, the game was called due to lightning strikes within an 8-mile radius of the area.
The Eagles will close out the regular season this weekend with a four-game series against UAA-foe New York University.
