ABCA/RAWLINGS ALL-REGION RELEASE
Sophomore Billy Dimlow gained more recognition for his career season Tuesday afternoon as he was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region First Team as announced by the organization via press release.
The honor comes on the heels of Dimlow's selection as D3Baseball.com's South Region Pitcher of the Year as well as a First Team nod earlier on Tuesday. Previously this season, Dimlow was chosen as the University Athletic Assocation Co-Pitcher of the Year and was a member of the All-UAA First Team.
Dimlow finished his sophomore campaign with a 6-2 record in 11 starts with 83 strikeouts and a 1.09 earned-run average in 74 innings of work and ranked among the NCAA Division III leaders in ERA (4th), strikeouts (34th) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (43rd).
