Sophomore Richard Brereton tossed a nine-inning complete game as Emory topped #13 CWRU in the UAA opener. Brereton allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six and finished the outing with 131 pitches thrown. Brereton was equally solid at the dish, batting a team-high .348 in five games as Emory went 2-3, racking up one double, a walk and two runs scored.
