Emory University Baseball junior RHP Billy Dimlow was named to the D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America First Team, announced by the website late Thursday night.

Dimlow becomes just the fifth Eagle to earn D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America acclaim joining Jackson Weeg (2016, 2017), Kyle Monk (2017), Brett Lake (2015) and Joe Roth (2008). D3Baseball.com began naming Preseason All-America Teams in 2008.

The Sammamish, WA native is coming off a tremendous sophomore campaign in which he went 6-2 in 11 starts, pitching to a 1.09 earned-run average with 83 strikeouts. He finished the season ranked fourth in Division III in ERA, 34^th in strikeouts, 43^rd in strikeout-to-walk ratio and earned numerous post-season awards such as D3Baseball.com First Team All-America, D3Baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-South Region, D3Baseball.com's South Region Pitcher of the Year, University Athletic Association Co-Pitcher of the Year and All-UAA First Team.

Dimlow and the Eagles begin the 2018 season with a home-and-home series versus Piedmont College on February 3^rd and 4^th.
