Emory University sophomore Christopher Stern and freshman Christian Bradley were named the University Athletic Association Baseball Athletes of the Week as announced late Monday afternoon.

Stern continued his torrid pace at the plate, going 4-for-9 with a triple and three RBI as Emory went 1-2 against #10 LaGrange and Covenant College. He scored a team-high three runs and went 2-for-4 with two runs and a RBI during Emory's 10-4 win at the Scots on Friday. He carries a .632 average and a five-game hitting streak into Tuesday's contest against Oglethorpe University.

Bradley tossed four scoreless innings this past week to lead the Emory pitching staff. Bradley pitched a perfect three innings in relief with three strikeouts to record his first career win as Emory salvaged a split at Covenant. On the season, Bradley has not allowed a run through 4.1 innings to go along with a 5:0 K:BB ratio.

The Eagles host the Stormy Petrels in the 2018 home opener on Tuesday afternoon. First pitch is set for 2:00 PM.
