Robby Wacker & Jack Moore Tabbed to ABCA All-Region Third Team

Emory University baseball seniors Robby Wacker and Jack Moore were recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Tuesday afternoon by being named to the All-Region Third Team.

Division III All-Region Teams

Wacker garners his first All-Region selection after starting all 38 games in his second season with the Eagles. He finished the year with a .353 batting average while leading the team with seven home runs and 44 RBI. Wacker registered at least one hit in 30 games and had a team-high 11 games with two or more RBI. A First Team All-UAA selection, Wacker collected a conference-best 36 walks and was second in the league with his .492 on-base percentage.

For Moore, he makes his first career All-Region appearance after a stellar senior season on the mound. In 10 starts, Moore went an unblemished 6-0 with a team-leading 46 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched. He won his first five decisions of the season and added a win at WashU in his second-to-last start of his career on April 9. Like Wacker, he also earned All-UAA kudos with a Second Team berth.

Behind Wacker and Moore, the Eagles finished with a 25-13 record including a blistering 11-2 end to the year that enabled them to capture a share of the UAA Championship for the first time since 2015.
