Freshman Connor Yakubov was the top performer for the Emory golf team at its Spring Invitational Tournament, April 10-11 at the 6,510-yard, par-70 Smoke Rise Country Club.
Yakubov finished third in the 80-player field after firing a 36-hole score of one-over par 141. Yakubov carded a 70, his best effort of the campaign, on Sunday before closing out the Invitational with a 71.
His performance helped the Eagles to a fourth-place finish out of 13 teams with a team score of 585.
