Emory Golf Tops NYU At UAA Championships -- Will Play For Title On Tuesday

Facing wet and windy conditions, the Emory golf team opened defense of its league title on Monday, rolling to a victory over New York University in a semifinal match at the University Athletic Association Championships. The event is being played at the 6,776-yard, par 72 Hammock Beach Resort Course in Palm Coast, Florida.

Using a match-play format, the No. 6-ranked Eagles posted a 4-1 decision over the Violets.  Below are the results of the match-play competitions.

Emory will meet No. 17 Carnegie Mellon in Tuesday's title clash, with that match beginning at approximately 8:40 am. CMU edged Rochester, 3-2, in the other semifinal contest.
