Sophomore Matt Organisak (Sudbury, MA) has been selected by the University Athletic Association as Co-Golfer of the Week following his performance at the Discover DeKalb Emory Spring Invitational held at Smoke Rise Country Club.  He shares the award with Robbie Keyes of New York University. It is the third time this season and fourth in his career that Organisak has garnered the honor.  

Organisak helped the No. 3-ranked Eagles to a first-place finish at the Invitational (Apr. 7-8), playing his way to all-tournament honors after pacing the squad and ranking third out of 83-players with a 36-hole score of even-par 140. After posting a two-over 72 on the first day of action, Organisak carded a 68 over the final 18 holes, his 10th effort of par or better this season in 17 rounds of competition.

To date, Matt is averaging a team-best 72.8 strokes per round on the year.

Emory returns to action, Apr. 13-14, when it competes at the Kravetz Invitational in Rochester, NY.
