Junior Matt Organisak helped the No. 1-ranked Emory golf team to a first-place tie at the Tartan Invitational. The 54-hole event was played on the 7,156-yard, par-72 Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.

Organisak played his way to medalist honors, topping the 90-player field with a three-under score of 213 (73-67-73), tying the program's sixth-best individual effort for a 54-hole tournament. It marked the second time in his Emory career that Organisak was a medalist, with the previous occasions taking place at the 2017 Rhodes College Fall Classic when he co-tied for the No. 1 position.

The Eagles tied No. 4-ranked Wittenberg for first place in the 12-team field with a score of 873. The Tigers would go on to edge Emory on the first hole of a playoff.
