Logan Ryan Tabbed For UAA Golf Honor

Freshman Logan Ryan has been selected as the University Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week following his performance at the Golfweek DIII Fall Invitational (Oct. 14-16).  The 54-hole tourney was played at the 6,659-yard, par-71 Raven Golf Club.  It is the second time this season that he has been honored by the league.

Ryan paced the Emory contingent over the final round, shooting a four-under 67 that left him as the Eagles' top performer for the Invitational with a five-under par 208 (67-74-67), good for fourth place in the 90-player field as well as the program's second-best individual mark ever for a three-round tournament.

Emory posted a first-place finish at the Invitational, pacing the 18-team field with a school-record 54-hole score of 844.

Logan closed out the fall portion of the schedule second on the squad in scoring average with an effort of 71.9 strokes over 12 rounds of play. He shot par or better in six rounds.
