Senior Matt Organisak was the top performer for the Emory men's golf team at the Golfweek DIII Invitational. The 54-hole tournament was played on the 6,725-yard, par-71 Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida.
Organisak carded a final score of one-under 212 (69-68-75) which placed him in a tie for 12th place in the 90-player field. His second round of three-under 68 tied his season best and represented the sixth time in nine rounds this fall that he had shot par or better.
Emory finished the Invitational in fifth place out of 18 teams.
With one fall tournament to be played (Oct. 28-29), Matt is averaging a team-leading 71.2 strokes over nine rounds of competition.
