Veteran members of the Emory golf team will get a jump on the impending 2019-20 season, when it embarks upon an overseas excursion to Scotland that will see it play some of the most renowned courses in the world.
Head coach John Sjoberg and his squad depart from Atlanta on Thursday evening (Aug. 15) before returning home on Friday, Aug. 23. A list of the courses that Emory will be playing on is as follows.

8/16- St. Andrews Bay Castle Course – the newest addition to St. Andrews Links, the Castle Course opened in 2008, becoming the seventh course at the Home of Golf and part of the largest public golfing complex in Europe.
8/17 - Crail Golfing Society – the 7th oldest golf club in the world – the Eagles will play on its two courses, The Balcomie Links and the Craighead Links.
8/18 – Kingsbarns Golf Links – the host site of the 2017 Ricoh Women's British Open. Located seven miles from St. Andrews along 1.8 miles of the picturesque North Season coastline.
8/19 – Carnoustie Golf Links – Eight-time site of The Open Championship, most recently in 2018.
8/20 – Castle Stuart Golf Links – a links course overlooking Moray Firth and well-known landmarks such as Kessock Bridge and Chanonry Lighthouse.
8/21 - Brora GC -- The course has the distinction of having its fairways and rough maintained by the grazing of sheep.
8/21 & 22 - Royal Dornoch – Home of famed golf course designer Donald Ross
8/23 – Return to Atlanta
