Emory Golf Continues Scotland Adventure

Emory Golf Continues Scotland Adventure

By Leo Rich

The Emory men's golf team had the privilege of playing Castle Stuart this Tuesday. Castle Stuart was the site of the 2016 Scottish Open. The course is relatively new compared to most in the country being built in the last ten years. The views were breathtaking and so was the play of one Emory senior, Matt Organisak. Organisak carded a 69 on Tuesday that featured 4 birdies and an eagle. He nearly made an albatross on the scenic 12th after carving a 6 iron from 212 to 18 inches.

The team is looking forward to playing at Royal Dornoch on Wednesday and Thursday. Dornoch is the home of the famous golf architect Donald Ross. Ross is known by many as the architectural father of American golf.
