Senior – 5th year (2021-22):

In his fifth and final year with the program, Hingtgen elevated his play to the highest level it has ever seen and in doing so carved out a vastly important role for himself on the 2021-22 Emory University men’s golf squad… Finished fifth on the team with a new career best 74.2 strokes per round in a team-high 27 rounds played… Earned his second consecutive All-Region nod… Finished in third for the Eagles and tied for 29th overall at the NCAA Championships after posting a score of 299 (75-76-76-72) to help Emory to a fifth place finish… Competing at the NCAA DIII Fall Preview, Hingtgen recorded his best tournament of the season posting a three-round score of 212 to finish tied for sixth and his third round score of 69 marked his season best round… Hingtgen's only other top ten performance of the season came at the Tartan Invitational where he posted a 227 (78-74-75) to finish tied for seventh and in second for the Eagles… Finished second amongst the Emory contingent and tied for seventh overall at the Tartan Invitational to help the Eagles earn their first outright tournament win of the season… Was one of three Emory men’s golfers to compete in each of the Eagles 12 tournaments… Was named to the 2022 UAA Spring All-Academic Team.

Senior (2020-21):
Competed in all five of tournaments ... Averaged 74.4 strokes over 14 rounds of play ... Division III PING Honorable Mention All-American ... PING All-South Region ... All-UAA Team ... Second on the squad with four rounds of par or better ... Paced the Eagles and placed 23rd on the leader board out of the 191 players who started out at the NCAA D-III Championships (May 11-14), posting a 72-hole score of 297 (72-74-77-74) ... No. 1 among the Emory contingent and finished ninth overall out of 72 players at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate (Apr. 12-13) with a one-under par 143 (72-71) ... Totaled 29 pars at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate, the second-highest total in the field ... Led the team and tied for fifth out of 60 competitors when he registered 34 pars at the 54-hole Golfweek DIII Spring Invitational (Apr. 2-4) ... Shot a pair of 71s that represented his season-best scores, the first one coming during the opening round of the Hampden-Sydney Tiger Invitational (Mar. 13) and the other the final 18 holes at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate.

Junior (2019-20):
Saw action in two tournaments ... Tied for fourth place out of 20 players at the Savannah Individual with a four-over par 148 (78-70) ... Second-round score of 70 at the Savannah Individual tied his career best ... Second on team and tied for 14th overall out of 101 players at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 21-22) with a 36-hole mark of 151 (73-78). 

Sophomore (2018-19):
Logged nine rounds of play while competing in four tournaments ... Averaged 76.3 strokes per round ... Tied for 27th place out of 103 players at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate at the Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome, Georgia, with a 36-hole score of 150 (74-76) ... Lone sub-par round of the year came over the final 18 holes of the Emory Discover DeKalb Invitational when he shot a one-under 70 (tying career best), with that score topping all Eagles for that round ... Ended the Emory Discover DeKalb Invitational as the ‘B’ side No. 2 scorer and 14th in the 82-player field with a 54-hole score of 220 (78-72-70) – shot even par for the final 36 holes.

Freshman (2017-18):
First season as an Eagle saw him total seven rounds of play over three tournaments ... Top 18-hole outing came during the opening round of the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Spring Invitational when he carded a two-under par 70, ending the 54-hole competition with a score of 222 (70-79-73) that tied for 14th out of 69 players ... 29th in the 83-player field at the Discover DeKalb Emory Spring Invitational with a 36-hole effort of 150 (76-74) ... Also took part in the Piedmont College Fall Invitational.
