Sophomore Gebereal Baitey gave the Emory men's basketball team a boost off the bench in a split of two UAA road games.

The 6-2 Baitey averaged 11.5 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 24.5 minutes of action against No. 5 Washington University and the University of Chicago. He shot 75 percent (9 of 12) from the floor and 80 percent (4 of 5) from the charity stripe.

He totaled nine points in 18 minutes of play against Wash U, converting all four of his field goal tries along with one free throw.  He also doled out three assists and chipped in a pair of steals.  He closed out the weekend by playing a career-long 31 minutes and responded with a personal-best 14 points in a 99-88 victory over Chicago.  He was successful on five-of-eight field goal opportunities, including one from beyond the arc, and registered a 3-for-3 effort at the stripe in notching his third double-figure scoring performance of the season.   In addition, he dished out three more assists and came up with a pair of steals, his eighth outing with multiple thefts this year.
