Senior Adam Gigax paced the Emory men's basketball team in scoring and rebounding, helping the squad to home wins over Carnegie Mellon and Case Western Reserve.

Gigax averaged 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds over the two contests, ending the weekend shooting 50 percent (14-28) from the floor, including 47.8 percent (11-23) from beyond the arc.

In an 82-77 triumph over CMU, Gigax topped all players with a season-high 26 points, sinking nine-of-19 from the floor, including a career-high tying six three-pointers in 14 tries. He tied for the No. 2 spot on the club with six boards. He closed out the weekend with a 17-point afternoon (13th double-figure scoring performance in as many outings this year) that saw him drain five treys in nine attempts, as the Eagles rolled to a 91-59 decision over Case Western. Gigax's effort allowed him to move into second place on the school's all-time list with 183 three-point field goals.

Gigax, who two or more three-pointers in all 13 of his games this year, ranks first on the squad and third among UAA players in scoring (17,3 ppg). He is third in the league in three-point percentage (.434, 46-106).
