Sophomore Romin Williams helped the Emory men's basketball team to a pair of home UAA wins.

The 5-foot-9 Williams averaged a team-high 17.5 points as the Eagles defeated Brandeis and New York University. He shot 52.2 percent (12-of-23) from the floor and 35.7 percent (5-of-14) from three-point range as the Eagles closed out the weekend with an overall record of 14-4, 5-2 in the league.

Williams was one of five double-figure scorers for the Eagles in a 92-59 decision over Brandeis, totaling 12 points while adding three assists. He followed that effort with a team-high 23 points (14 in the second half) in a 97-75 triumph over NYU, knocking down eight-of-13 field goal attempts, including three-of-eight from distance, and going four-of-five from the foul line. His performance against the Violets marked his 16th double-figure outing of the season and seventh of 20 or more points.

Through 18 games, Williams finds himself atop the UAA scoring list at 17.5 points per game. In addition, he tops the league in treys per game (3.1) and is fifth in assists (3.9 apg).
