Sophomore Romin Williams paced the Emory men's basketball team in scoring as the Eagles split a pair of home contests.

Williams tossed in 29.0 points and averaged 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in contests against Washington University and the University of Chicago. In addition, Williams shot 51.2 percent (21-of-41) from the floor, 44.0 percent (11-of-25) from three-point range and 83.3 percent (5-of-6) from the foul line.

In a 105-82 triumph over Washington University, Williams posted a game-high 31 points, four assists and three rebounds. He ended the game 11-of-19 from the field, including five-of-11 from distance and four-of-five from the foul line, in dialing up his second-highest career total. He followed that effort with a game-high 27 points in a 114-107 setback to Chicago, knocking down 10 field goals in 22 tries and six triples in 14 opportunities, his 12th contest of the year with three or more treys.

Williams now has 71 three-point field goals to his credit this year, good for a fifth-place tie on the program's seasonal chart.
