Junior Matt Davet ranked as the leading scorer for the Emory men's basketball team as it split a pair of UAA road games.

The 6-foot-7 Davet averaged 20.0 points in contests at Carnegie Mellon and Case Western Reserve. He concluded the weekend shooting 70 percent (14-of-20) from the floor, including 64.3 percent (9-of-14) from three-point range, while converting all three of his free throw opportunities.

Matt totaled 16 points in 17 minutes of action in a 98-86 victory against Carnegie Mellon, connecting on six field goals in nine attempts and four triples in six tries. He followed that performance with a team-high 24 points vs. CWRU, knocking down eight-of-11 from the floor, including five-of-eight from beyond the arc. In addition, he placed second on the squad with seven rebounds. His three-pointer early in the second half enabled him to become the 17th player in program history to reach the 1,000 career-point plateau.

Davet has registered 17 double-figure scoring games this year and has rang up outings with 20 or more points.
