Junior Lawrence Rowley helped the Emory men's basketball team to a pair of home wins.

The 6-foot-5 Rowley tied for the team scoring lead (17.5 ppg) and was second in rebounding (7.5 rpg) as the Eagles topped New York University and Brandeis University. He ended the weekend shooting 60 percent (12-of-20) from the floor, including 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from three-point range, and 85.7 percent (6-of-7) from the charity stripe.

Rowley totaled 14 points, hitting five-of-six field goals, including a pair of triples, and grabbed seven rebounds in a 99-81 triumph over NYU. He followed that performance by dialing up 21 points (second on the team), knocking down seven field goals in 14 attempts, including a career-high tying three triples in six attempts in a 93-65 win against Brandeis. He was second on the team with seven rebounds and also chipped in four assists and two steals. Lawrence has now scored in double figures on 17 occasions this year.

A starter in all 22 Emory contests, he is fourth on the team's score sheet in scoring at 13.4 points per outing while pacing the team in rebounding with a 7.8 per-game mark.
