The Emory University men's soccer team will wrap up its final
road trip of the season this weekend, as the Eagles will travel to
face the 11th-ranked University of Rochester on Friday,
October 30th at 5:00 PM, and Case Western Reserve
University on Sunday, November 1st at 11:00 AM.
Emory has improved to 10-3-1 on the season with a 2-0-1 record in
its last three matches. The Eagles are 1-2-1 in University
Athletic Association (UAA) matches this season, placing them in
fifth-place in the conference. Emory, ranked sixth in the
South Atlantic region, has gone 8-1-0 in road and neutral matches
this season.
Rochester will enter Friday's match with a 10-1-2 record this
season, including a perfect 5-0-0 record at home this season.
The Yellowjackets are second in the UAA with a 3-1-0 record in
conference matches this season. Rochester is ranked
11th in the latest NSCAA Division III poll and
10th in the D3Soccer.com poll.
Emory is 12-8-2 all time against Rochester, including a 1-0 win
over the Yellowjackets last season at the Woodruff Physical
Education Center.
Case Western Reserve will begin the weekend with a 7-6-3 overall
record, and will host Carnegie Mellon University on Friday before
facing the Eagles on Sunday. The Spartans are currently in
eighth place in the UAA with a 0-3-1 record in conference
matches. Case holds a 4-1-1 record in home matches this
season.
Emory is 20-1-1 all time against Case, including a 2-1 win last
season at home.
