Hardington led the Emory offense during the first week of action, leading the team with three goals, nine shots and six SOGs. He was named to the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament Team for his performance over the weekend.
He scored two goals in Emory's 7-1 rout over St. Joseph's and added another goal the next day in the Eagles' match against Denison.
