Matt led the Emory defensive unit that did not allow a goal on just seven shots on goal during the Eagles' 3-0 week. In the first game against Sewanee, he had some late game heroics with two outstanding diving defensive saves in the final minutes to preserve the 1-0 win. And against Huntingdon, he provided the lone goal in the game to help Emory to the 1-0 victory.
