The Emory Men's Soccer Team had their awards presentation to honor the team award winners for the 2016 season following the annual Spring Blue/White Game on Wednesday, April 12th.
Award Winners:
Rookie of the Year: Midfielder Jun Tsuru
Most Improved: Midfielder Gabriel Vasconcelos
Outstanding Defender: Center Back Cody Gardiner
Leading Scorer: Center Forward Jason McCartney
Team Most Valuable Player: Center Forward Jason McCartney
Edward(Skip) & Douglas Holmes Memorial Award to defender Georges Daoud.
The award is presented to the Emory Men's Soccer Player who exhibits the best combination of performance, sportsmanship, scholarship and the leadership qualities of character, discipline and inspiration.
