Max Carlson Named UAA Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Max Carlson was named the University Athletic Association Men's Soccer Co-Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career Monday afternoon after helped the Eagles to a 1-0-1 record against Brandeis and NYU.

Carlson made a total of 10 saves across the two games, stopping six shots, one shy of his career-high, in Friday night's win over the Judges before adding four stops in a scoreless tie with the Violets on Sunday. He allowed just one goal across 200 minutes of action.

For the season, Carlson has posted a 1.13 goals-against average in 10 games to go along with 38 saves for a .776 save percentage.

Carlson and the Eagles wrap up the regular season this Saturday at 1:30 PM against the University of Rochester.
