Men's Soccer Plays to Scoreless Draw at Johns Hopkins

The Emory University men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against Johns Hopkins University on the final day of the Blue Jay Invitational on a wet and soggy Sunday afternoon in Baltimore, MD.

The two teams combined for 14 shots in the defensive battle with only five attempts being on target. With the tie, the Eagles see their record move to 1-1-3 while the Blue Jays now stand 3-0-2.

For Emory, seniors Will Tichy and Alejandro Gomez combined for the team's four shots in the contest with all four attempts coming in the second half. Gomez had the Eagles' lone shot on frame in the 59th minute.

Senior Peter Wagner picked up his second shutout of the season, totaling four saves.

Next up for Emory is a med-week matchup on the road against Sewanee Wednesday night. Kickoff with the Tigers is set for 7:30 PM EDT.
