Emory University senior Patrick Augustyn swam an NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 200-yard butterfly during the Eagles’ dual meet against ninth-ranked NCAA Division I University of Georgia on Wednesday. Augustyn finished second in the event with a provisional qualifying mark of 1:52.36. The four-time all-American also swam the butterfly leg of the Eagles’ second-place 400-yard medley relay, swimming a split of 50.05 seconds en route to a team time of 3:26.13, and the third leg of the sixth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team, recording a split of 21.83 seconds and an overall relay time of 1:29.46. Augustyn accounted for five points during the Eagles’ 144-88 loss to the Bulldogs.
