Mitchell had a solid showing in Emory's dual meet against Penn State on Saturday. Cooper placed in the top 3 in all three individual events he swam in including a first place win in the 400 IM (4:06.08). He was second in the 100 Back (50.73) and was third in 200 Back (1:53.33). His times in the 400 IM and 100 Back were fast enough to qualify for NCAA "B" Cut. Cooper added a third place finish as part of the 200 Medley relay (1:34.64) swimming the first leg of the event.
