Senior Oliver Smith paced the Eagles to a 4th place team finish at the Miami Invitational this past weekend in Oxford, OH. Smith won a pair of individual events in the 50 and 100 Freestyles and added another in the 400 Freestyle Relay to lead the team. Smith posted the first NCAA A Cut for the Eagles this season in the 50 Free (19.60) and swam to a NCAA B Cut time in the 100 Free (43.90) with both times currently ranking as the top mark in Division III so far this season. Smith added a fourth place finish in the 100 Butterfly and recorded a NCAA B Cut of 48.86 during prelims. During the meet, Smith was also part of three relays that registered NCAA qualifying times: 200 Medley (2nd, 1:29.00), 400 Medley (2nd, 3:17.50) and 400 Free (1st, 2:57.52 - Meet Record).
