Senior Oliver Smith was named the CSCAA DIII Men's Swimmer of the Year after helping the Eagles to a national runner-up finish at the 2018 championships. Smith won individual titles in the 50 and 100 Freestyles, set NCAA DIII records in the prelims of both events and was a member of all four championship winning relays. He was also Honorable Mention in the 100 Butterfly, finishing 12th overall. In addition, he became just the fourth male in Division III history to win three 50 Freestyles in a career and was the first in Division III history to ever swim under 43 seconds in the 100 Freestyle at 42.98.
