Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year member of the Upper Saint Clair High School team, serbing as the team captain from 2012-14... Was a 13-time All-American, a 12-time PIAA medalist, and a 15-time district medalist... The WPIAL District 7 record holder in the 200 and 400 free relays... Helped his team to the WPIAL Championship in 2011 and the WPIAL Section Championship in 2011, 2013 and 2014... Recorded career-best times of 20.95 in the 50 free, 45.40 in the 100 free, 1:39.96 in the 200 free and 51.91 in the 100 back... Was coached by Tom Donati and Dave Schraven... Was a Junior Nationals qualifier... Also ran track.
Personal:
Born September 20th... Mother, Georgia, ran track a the University of Pittsburgh for one year... Father, Daniel, played football at Lafayette College for one year... Finished in second place at the 2014 chemistry olympics... Was a two-time Dean's List honoree and a National Honors Society member in high school.
