Burke, Kushner Complete NCAA Diving Regional Competition in San Antonio

Emory University's Trevor Burke and Katie Kushner wrapped up competition at the NCAA Diving Regionals on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio, Texas.

Kushner, a third place finisher in the women's 1-meter on Friday, came in seventh place in the 3-meter event on Saturday, finishing with a score of 352.70. Despite the seventh place showing on Saturday, Kushner qualified for the NCAA Championships, earning one of the region's five NCAA allocations as she was the second-highest day one finisher, not already invited.

On the men's side of the regional, Burke followed up his fifth place showing in the 3-meter event on Friday with a fourth place effort in the 1-meter on Saturday afternoon, recording a score of 416.25. Unfortunately, it was not enough to qualify for the NCAA Championships later this month as CMS's Kendall Hollimon and Trinity's Daniel Valmassei and Anthony Liva secured the region's three male allocations.
