Trevor Burke, Katie Kushner Set for NCAA Diving Regionals

Sophomore Trevor Burke and freshman Katie Kushner will represent Emory University at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Diving Championships on March 2nd and 3rd at the Palo Alto College Natatorium in San Antonio, Texas.

Burke and Kushner are two of 28 divers, 17 female and 11 male, selected from the Midwest, South and West regions to compete in San Antonio this weekend.

Friday's docket features the men's 3M and women's 1M events and will start at 2:00 PM local time while Saturday's slate begins at noon local time and consists of the men's 3M and women's 1M. Trinity University will be offering free live video of the regional meet which can be found HERE and live results which can be found on DiveMeets.com.

Kushner earned All-UAA honors at the UAA Championships last month, finishing second in the 1-meter with 450.20 points. She added a score of 405.10 during the preliminaries of the 3-meter event. Burke last competed against the University of Georgia on February 3rd in both the 1M, 6D and 3M, 6D events. He currently holds the school record in the 3M with a mark of 512.25, set at last year's UAA Championships.
