The Emory University Swimming and Diving program swept the University Athletic Association weekly awards as junior Julia Durmer, sophomores Madeline Lutwyche, Trevor Burke and freshman Sven Mesihovic were named Athletes of the Week, announced Monday afternoon by the league office.

Durmer led the Eagles in the team's 173-111 win over Birmingham-Southern on Saturday, posting a team-best three individual event wins. Durmer took home top honors in all three events she competed in, winning the 1000 Freestyle (10:36.15), 200 Breaststroke (2:27.19) and the 200 IM (2:11.01).

Lutwyche won the 1-meter, 6-dives event, posting a NCAA B Cut score of 257.55, and added a second place effort in the 3-meter, 6-dives, earning 211.58 points.

Burke swept both diving events for the men as the Eagles defeated BSC 163-121. Burke notched a NCAA B Cut in the 3-meter, 6-dives event with a score of 321.45 and added a score of 281.25 to win the 1-meter, 6-dives event.

Mesihovic notched a pair of first place showings and added a second place effort on Saturday. He touched first in the 200 Backstroke (1:53.51) and 200 IM (1:57.40) and was second in the 100 Backstroke (52.97).

The Eagles return to the pool on November 3rd and 4th as Emory hosts Wingate, Catawba and Georgia Southern for a two-day meet at the Madeleine Jude Brown Aquatic Center.
