Freshman Pat Pema won both events he competed in over the weekend at the Midwest Invitational, doing so in NCAA qualifying time. Pema touched first in the 200 IM at 1:51.26 and later in the 200 Backstroke at 1:49.13. Pema would also record a faster time in the 200 Back, touching at 1:48.07 during time trials.
