Andrew Wilson Selected to US National Team Roster for Pan Pacific Championships

Former Emory University swimming standout Andrew Wilson has been named to the USA Swimming national team roster for the Pan Pacific Championships, one of the top international swimming competitions in the world, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan from August 9th-14th. Wilson is believed to be the first Division III swimmer ever to qualify for the Pan Pacs.

Wilson secured his spot for the Pan Pacific Championships with his performance at this past week's Phillips 66 U.S. Nationals where he touched second in the 200m Breaststroke with a time of 2:08.71. He added a second place finish in the 100m Breaststroke with a mark of 59.43.

Wilson is one of 29 men and 57 individuals overall to be named to the national team roster which includes superstars Katie Ledecky and Caeleb Dressel. To see the full list of US qualifiers, click here.
