Emory University freshman Lucas Bumgarner was named the University Athletic Association Men's Diver of the Week for his performance against Delta State on Saturday morning in Pensacola, Florida. The weekly honor marks Bumgarner's second weekly award of the season.
Bumgarner turned in a pair of top-two finishes as Emory was edged by DSU, 160-140, at West Florida. Bumgarner clinched the 1-meter dive with a NCAA B Cut mark of 309.80 and was second in the 3-meter with a score of 282.80.
The Eagles return to the pool this Saturday with a dual meet against Division III foe Centre College, beginning at 11:00 AM inside the Woodruff PE Center.
