Men's Diving Trio to Compete at NCAA Regionals at Grinnell

The Emory University Men's Diving trio of junior Trevor Burke and freshmen Lucas Bumgarner and Colin Stelmach will represent the Eagles this weekend at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Diving Championships in Grinnell, IA. The regionals are hosted by Grinnell College.

The trio will be part of a group of 15 male divers from the Midwest, South and West regions to compete this Friday and Saturday in Iowa.

Friday features the men's 1-meter event beginning at 2:00 PM local time followed by the 3-meter competition on Saturday starting at noon local. Grinnell College will be offering free live video of the regional meet which can be found HERE and live results which can be found on DiveMeets.com.

The trio is coming off a strong showing at the UAA Championships where Bumgarner was crowned the Diver of the Year after recording a school record mark of 576.15 in the 3-meter event and a personal best of 512.60 in the 1-meter. Burke and Stelmach also posted season-best scores at the UAA Championships with Burke turning in marks of 412.65 in the 1-meter and 431.00 in the 3-meter and Stelmach recording marks of 373.70 in the 1-meter and 388.65 in the 3-meter.
