Emory University sophomore Lucas Bumgarner was honored as the UAA Men's Diver of the Week after helping the Eagles to their 22nd consecutive conference championship this past weekend in Chicago.
Bumgarner swept both diving events at the meet as was named the UAA Men's Diver of the Year for a second time. Bumgarner recorded a school-record score of 615.60 to win the 3-meter before winning the 1-meter with a mark 575.10. Earlier in prelims of the 1-meter, Lucas established a new school record with his score of 581.10.
Next up for the Pittsburgh, PA native with be the NCAA Regionals in San Antonio, TX on February 28th and 29th.
