Michael Haun
Title: Diving Coach

Michael Haun was appointed as the Emory University Diving coach prior to the start of the 2018-19 season.

He has been a valuable member of the coaching staff during his two seasons, helping the Eagles to UAA Championships in each of his two seasons and seeing the women's squad win the NCAA DIII Championship in 2019. At the 2020 UAA Championships, Haun was honored as the UAA Men's Diving Co-Coach of the Year after overseeing Lucas Bumgarner capturing his second straight UAA Men's Diver of the Year award.

Haun comes to Emory after serving as a high school diving coach in the area at both Grady and North Atlanta for the past two years and currently serves as a safety coordinator with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. During his time with North Atlanta, he saw one of his students capture the 6A boys state title in 2018 and saw a female become the first in school history to qualify for the state championships in 2018.

Haun completed his MBA at Georgia College and State University and earned a B.S. in Business Management at North Carolina University where he competed as a diver on the NC State swimming and diving team under Coach John Candler.
